Course studio

What it was

A course authoring tool written from scratch. A course is lessons, a lesson is one scrolling page, and a page is a stack of blocks: text, images, audio, video, scored questions, and five interactive blocks that share one keyboard contract. Narration is uploaded or spoken by a text to speech service running on this machine, so no script leaves the building. The player is written once: the preview in the editor loads the same file the published package ships, so what an author previews is what the LMS runs.
